Address: 12a Rectory Road, Ruskington, Lincolnshire NG34 9AE
Rectory Road is the main Lincoln to Sleaford road (B1188) that runs through the village. A SatNav will take you to the wrong destination as 12a is actually on the side of the road with odd numbers. Its position is between number 11 and Ruskington Bowls Club, nearly opposite the Black Bull Public House. Please see house photo for recognition. If you put number 11 into the SatNav it will be more accurate.
Training Venue Times are: Trainees 9:00 am arrival for a 9.30am prompt start.
Volunteers arrive at 10:00 am for Steven to work on and from 4:00 pm every half an hour for the trainees to work on.
End time: Typically by 6:00 pm, maybe earlier, depending on class numbers. Steven is available after should you wish to ask questions or finalise your thoughts.
Lunch is provided at Training events except where people have specific dietary needs. A menu will be sent to you in advance – please complete and return.
Car Parking on the driveway is on a first come first served basis. Plenty of on road parking is available opposite the venue.
The Bus stop is across the road, however, rural buses are very infrequent.
Ruskington has a Railway Station which is an 8-minute walk away. Trains connect with Sleaford, Lincoln, Grantham, Newark and Peterborough, changing to reach further destinations.
Disability and Access
This is Trudy and Steven’s home, the Training Room and House has wheelchair access. However, the only ground floor toilet size is NOT suitable for wheelchair access, but there are public toilets with disability access less than a 100 yards away. If disability parking is required this can be reserved in advance.
